CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
From Aleksandrs Lahtionovs and Sergijs Ivanovs-Galviņš, Latvia

Small Baltic country of Latvia, situated in Northern part of Europe, and its capital city of Riga, where Meditation and Zen Center exists for more than 15 years, glad to congratulate all participants of celebration of United Nations Day of Vesak (UNDV) in 2014 in Vietnam!
For all these years our activities in the field of human spiritual development with approaches and philosophy of Buddhism, Zen and Yoga was focused on the needs of common people, inhabitants of Latvian cities, villages and townships.
We saw great results of our Dharma work – peaceful minds, solved personal problems, improved quality of life and self evaluation level of many people.
To keep this practice, to have a driving force for spreading the Dharma, we find inspiration in you, our fellow Dharma Friends. Delegates from all around the world, representatives of Global Sangha, monastic and lay people, all forms of ours practices, share the same goal – to help. To help this World, our country, our city or village, our Sangha members and all sentient beings to be saved from suffering.
We are greatly thankful to organizers of UNDV annually events in Vietnam and Thailand for this opportunity to meet our Dharma friends and colleagues, to exchange inspiration and experiences for the sake of all humanity.
Best wishes and great quality time together at the 11th Anniversary Celebration and International Buddhist Conference of United Nations Day of Vesak 2014 in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam!
Yours in the Dharma,
