CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
From Most Ven. Dr. Ch. Dambajav, Mongolia
Dear Delegations and Distinguished Guests and Friends in Dhamma.
Dear Sirs and Madams,
On the behalf of Mongolian Buddhists and on my own behalf, I have a great honor to lead the Mongolian Buddhists delegation for the auspicious and meaningful event of the United Nations day of Vesak celebrations with be held on 7-11”’ May, 2014 in Ninh Binh province Vietnam and to express my deepest appreciation with goodwill message and felicitations to the Vietnam Government and to the National Vietnam Sangha (NVBS).
The Vesak Day is the most significant day for Buddhists all over the world from all Mahayana, Theravada, and Vaijrayana schools alike to commemorate the three great events in the Buddha’s life which occurred on the same full-moon day his birth, enlightenment and passing away. Buddha’s teaching on peace, unity, non-violence, compassion, liberation, no-self, and profit for the other is always the very lodestar of all Buddhists in cultivation for enlightenment and the freedom of mind.
Today, human beings have created serious problems not only for themselves, but also have made troubles for all living beings. Therefore, religious leaders, faith organizations and religious communities develop and strengthen human value based on the principles of mutual respect and harmony, compassion and forgiveness, justice and equality. This is the Buddhist approach to solve the world crisis.
May all human beings are deprived of all crises both external and internal, and peacefully co-exist in light of the Buddha’s teaching.
May all beings be happy and peaceful in forever!
